Every time we have a terrorist rampage, western governments "issue" a statement saying "We stand by the people of India and strongly Condemn the terrorist attacks".
I have often wondered what this means - Who is supposed to be listening to these statements? Who is supposed to feel bad? and most importantly what does it mean to India?
On similar lines, just an hour ago on XMas Eve I heard the Pope urging factions in Iraq, Israel and Afghanistan to work out a peaceful solution. Who the f*** is supposed to listen to him? I find it so silly that these people make baseless suggestion.
Am I missing something here?
